I JUST BOUGHT THE MP-44 TOY COLOR REISSUE, AND NOW THEY ANNOUNCE THIS? COME ON

If this is true, it goes automatically on my Amazon Pre-order. I dilly dallied with Gears, Ultra Magnus, and Swoop and being in Canada it means death sentence for me ever paying one at retail and me having to pay the idiot tax. Ultra Magnus is so hard to find here that people are scalping it for like $300 Canadian when it's only supposed to be $130ish.

I know we have been bombarded with so many Primes the past couple of years that it's exhausting, but ever since I first heard of an 86 version last year this is all I've been waiting on. I'm like you, this is my last G1 Prime, I'm getting old..this is it. I didn't say the same w/ Earthrise. I sold my Earthrise month's ago anticipating this one. I actually think there were whispers of it as far back as two years ago. This 86 Prime is going to be a guaranteed hit, so I'm preordering(probably 2) as soon as it's announced. And I'm RARELY the guy who buys two copies of figures. There are people who passed on that Ultra Magnus who are now hurting for one. And yea, that Dramatic Capture import pack is basically you paying a "tax" to get a good mainframe figure now. I can feel 86 Megatron coming...

Damn it, I told myself I didn't need ss86 Op, but over time I became intrigued. And now this shows up? I'll need to see more before I make a decision, but damn this is tempting.

I just hope this guy isn't engineered with hip skirts, I mean if they didn't engineer him with the same hip engineering as kingdom rodimus, that will be very disappointing. Hip skirts just hinder the articulation.

I am both angers and impressed, as a Simon Furman and Don Figuroafan I LOVE seeing a Bludgeon lol like he’s did in Stormbringer, I agree with you on hoping he comes with a sword. Ruckus looks good but 2 points of frustration 1) Ruckus’ colors are purple and yellow not of white and navy blue and 2) why didn’t Hasbro put this much effort in Windsweeper. I like what I see with this 2 pack and I might want to pick it up but this only makes me hate the Breakdown and Windsweeper 2 park more

Yessir!!! I'm with you 1000%!!! I've been waiting for THE definitive Transformers the Movie Optimus Prime!!! Now, all I want is the preorder date so we can get the ball rolling!!! Please let the trailer be accurately detailed with Roller and weapons included!!!! This is the one we've been waiting for along with the remaining million dollar question of how is Megatron going to be produced so we can relive that heartbreaking battle on our collection shelves!!!! Thanks for the reveal, because now you've got me excited!!!!

If this is the Commander Class Prime I lied...I WILL be buying another mainline figure & this will be it!!! This along with Commander Class Rodimus will be displayed with the Dinobots in my collection (which is almost all MP at the moment)...THIS LOOKS GREAT!!!! I jus hope the white is paint & won't yellow...

Thank Primus this isn’t a retool of the Earthrise Optimus. I hate the proportions of that figure. Short little body with long legs. This looks like a proper representation of a G1 Animation Optimus. Does he have a bit of a chunky backpack? Yeah, but this is a mainline release. They took the complex MP-44 and simplified it in Chug scale. That alone is impressive. I agree that this could very well be the G1 Optimus to end all G1 Optimus’. We’ll know for sure when we see more images. ^^

100% going to be THE definitive Optimus Prime figure. Just still a little upset with the backpack, especially considering that ER did it pretty much perfectly on nearly half the budget... Other than that this is 👌💯

Spawn of Unicron Tarantulas has grown on me. And to be fair, Fallen Tarn is awesome! It's the best 4 pack and packaging better than old buzz packaging! Plastic windows does something for me! Excellent review, Ed!

Tarn yet again. Hasbro's definitely getting their top dollar out of this mold. While I have original release Tarn, and Bludgeon, the head sculpt looks epic, and nice to see some variant molding on the chest. Yellow, and (I'll call it sand green) look really good. Just needed an alternate weapon other than the same dual canons. I have no idea what's going on with the Beach Comber mold other than he's a lot taller. Really curious to see how much different the Buggy mode looks. Definitely a sucker for novelty character bots, and I like again how much retooling is done to differentiate them from the original modes. If this one hits Amazon like the previous two definitely going to get.

This looks a lot like the third party legends scale version. Hasbro could totally use the third party figures as blueprints. What are they companies gonna do? Sue Hasbro for stealing the character they stole themselves?
